Financial Controller Responsiilities:
Financial reporting: They prepare and analyze financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
Budgeting and forecasting: They collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and financial forecasts, helping to guide the organization’s financial planning and decision-making.
Internal controls: They establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets, ensure accurate financial records, and mitigate financial risks.
Compliance: They ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, such as tax laws and accounting standards.
Financial analysis: They perform financial analysis to evaluate the organization’s financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
Strategic planning: They contribute to the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and analysis to support the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.
