Role: Sourcing Specialist (Metals)
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 5-10 years
Qualification: B.E/ B.tech
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic steering of spend across the Group, within assigned categories (the size and/or number of assigned categories is more limited in comparison to the Category Manager role)
Responsible for regional and Group suppliers: selection, negotiations, contracts and management to ensure the best ratio of quality/time/cost/risk to within assigned categories
Drive cross unit / country synergies through multiple levers and robust category strategies and actions
Knowledge of metals manufacturing industry, transformation and contracting metal suppliers in India.
Understanding of main metal raw materials and different metal related production technologies.
Knowledge of supplier contracts principles
Awareness of ISO standards i.e., 9001, 14001, 45001 etc. and EU sustainability standards.
Supplier auditing practice and Experience with online tendering software.
5- 10 years’ experience in Sourcing/ Procurement Dept in an international/ MNC company.
