Job Title: Senior Supercluster Systems Engineer

Senior Supercluster Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

• This is a hands-on position that requires performing highly advanced (senior-level) container architectural work that supports the DevSecOps initiative.
• Provide technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration and technical management.
• Assist in providing technical input to the systems engineering process.
• Lead teams in developing application and technical and required to interact and support Infrastructure DBAs to assist in patching Databases on M8 SC.
• Work with Principal SA to expand Exadata Disk Space- Be able to Interact with Supplier to Identify critical needs and failures.
• Support special projects and provide subject matter knowledge to customers at all levels.

Qualifications:

• Must be a technical expert in Solaris and Linux OS environments.
• Must have the following working skills:- QFSDP Quarterly process used to Deploy M8 Super Cluster patches through the servers in an through all environments.
• Experience on Oracle Exadata Storage Servers.
• Senior experience with Oracle Solaris and Oracle Databases- proven experience engineering migrations from various platforms.
• Experience on Oracle Infiniband Network and Switches.
• Experience on Oracle ZFS Storage Appliances / Remote Replication.

Education:

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business, or related scientific /technical discipline and 10+ years of experience.
• (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 years total).
