We are looking for Pastry Chef.

  • Create a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, tarts, and other baked goods.
  • Develop and execute recipes, paying attention to flavor, texture, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team or management to design dessert menus that complement the overall dining experience.
  • Consider seasonal ingredients, dietary trends, and customer preferences.
  • Source and select high-quality ingredients, including flour, sugar, chocolate, fruits, and nuts.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and order ingredients as needed.
  • Oversee the baking and production process, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Manage the baking schedule to meet demand and maintain freshness.
  • Pay close attention to the visual presentation of desserts, using techniques such as icing, garnishing, and plating.
  • Ensure that desserts are aesthetically pleasing and aligned with the establishment’s style.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and taste in all pastry items.
  • Continuously taste and evaluate products to ensure they meet expectations.
  • Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards in the pastry kitchen.
  • Ensure a clean and well-organized workspace.
  • Lead and mentor pastry kitchen staff, including bakers, assistant pastry chefs, and pastry cooks.
  • Provide training and guidance in pastry techniques.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels for pastry ingredients and supplies.
  • Order and restock ingredients as necessary to maintain production.
  • Assist in managing the budget for the pastry department.
  • Control costs, minimize waste, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Experiment with new recipes and techniques to introduce innovative desserts to the menu.
