We have an opening for the below position one of the client based in Qatar. Contract Specialist (Procurement).

Contract Specialist Responsibilities:

Managing the contract process:

  • Reviewing and analyzing contract requirements
  • Drafting and preparing contract documents
  • Ensuring contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Negotiating contract terms:

  • Collaborating with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
  • Balancing the needs of the organization with the interests of the vendor
  • Resolving any disputes or issues that arise during the negotiation process

Ensuring compliance:

  • Monitoring contract performance and adherence to terms
  • Identifying and mitigating any risks or non-compliance issues
  • Conducting audits and inspections to ensure contract compliance

Building and maintaining relationships:

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Engaging with vendors to foster positive and productive relationships
  • Acting as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues

Analyzing and reporting:

  • Analyzing contract data and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Generating reports on contract performance and outcomes
  • Providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making
