PHP Developer Job Description:
We are seeking a talented PHP developer to join our dynamic team. As a PHP developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications, websites, and software solutions. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop secure and efficient code that meets our clients’ and users’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Write clean, well-documented PHP code to develop and maintain web applications and websites.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Participate in the design and architecture of software solutions.
Ensure the security and performance of web applications.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Test and debug applications to ensure reliability and quality.
Keep up-to-date with the latest PHP and web development trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a PHP developer, with a strong portfolio of web development projects.
Proficiency in PHP and its popular frameworks (e.g., Laravel).
Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
