Job Title: Category Executive (Meat)

We are currently seeking a Category Executive (Meat) to join our team in Doha, Qatar.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contract terms, and promotional opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing waste.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to develop and execute category plans.
• Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales, margin, and inventory turnover.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in category management, preferably in the meat industry.
• Bachelor in Business Administration/ Management
• GCC Driving Licences is Mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a category and achieving sales targets.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with category management software is a plus.
• Knowledge of local market trends and regulations in the meat industry is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics.
