Job Title: Electrical Estimation Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Electrical Estimation Engineer Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all monthly project cost reports.
Prepares cost estimates from design conception to basic design as requested for project purposes
Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures costs data is allocated correctly within the construction environment
Updates organizational cost standards on a regular basis for new projects
Tracks market prices for construction costs, equipment, material and labor .
Analyzing blueprints to determine wire lengths as well as suitable outlet placement based on electrical codes.
Determining the amount, type, and cost of materials and fixtures needed for each electrical project.
Determining the amount of labor required to complete each project.
Determining the potential profitability of electrical projects to assist management in making sound bidding decisions.
Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability.
Completing and submitting competitive project bids in accordance with established guidelines.
Regularly updating cost databases to accurately reflect fluctuating material and labor costs.
Evaluating labor and material costs to determine whether it is more feasible to construct electrical components or sub-contract the construction of components.
Preparing estimates and breakdown of new items, if no existing item available in the BOQ.
Experience: Minimum 5 yrs in UAE mainly in construction industry
Requirements & Qualification:
Bachelors in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Must have knowledge in Plan swift software
Knowledge in CANDY software is added advantage
